An ideal holiday apartment on the sunshine island of Ile de Ré

The property is located in picture postcard St Martin, the capital town of unspoilt Ile de Ré, an island off the Atlantic coast of France, not far from La Rochelle. The island is characterised by a gentle climate, picturesque villages and a variety of landscapes. 

The apartment enjoys an ideal situation on a unique ilôt within the harbour at St Martin. While right in the centre of this busy fishing and sailing port and a stone's throw away from bustling shops and restaurants, it is also a very peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday.

The apartment is attractively furnished and fully equipped. Amenities include a full size ceramic hob, oven with rotisserie, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier, TV and phone. There is also an internet café on the doorstep.

About the apartment:

  • sleeps 2, ideal for a couple
  • privately owned
  • on 1st floor with private terrace and adjacent to further communal terrace
  • not suitable for those with limited mobility, nor children or pets
  • shower room with shower, wash hand basin and washer/drier, separate WC
  • kitchen/dining area with oven, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and breakfast bar
  • living area with sofa, coffee table, desk, phone and TV (French channels only) 
  • mezzanine floor with double bed, chests of drawers & velux window (limited headroom)
  • electric heating for that occasional chilly evening in spring/autumn
  • 2 bikes with gears (one gents, one lady's) with accessories (pumps, basket, locks, etc)
  • patio table & 4 chairs on terrace, plus 2 comfortable sun lounging chairs
  • all bed linen and towels supplied, including beach towels
  • nearby internet cafe (10 metres away) with WiFi zone
  • available on a weekly basis, reduced rate for 2 weeks

  • from March to October (inclusive), at other times by arrangement
